Mira Ben-Ari is a Grammy Award-winning Israeli-American violinist, producer, and entrepreneur. She was born in Tel Aviv and began playing the violin at age five. She moved to the United States in 1991 and attended the High School of Music and Art in New York City. She later attended the Manhattan School of Music and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.
Ben-Ari has collaborated with many famous musicians and artists such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Wyclef Jean, and Alicia Keys. In 2011, she won a Grammy Award for her work on Kanye West's album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
In addition to her music career, Ben-Ari is also an entrepreneur and has founded several companies, including Gedenk, a non-profit organization that promotes Holocaust education and remembrance.
Ben-Ari is also a strong advocate for women's rights and empowerment and has been recognized for her work with various organizations such as UN Women and the Women's International Zionist Organization.
